TECHNICAL NOTES
This year (2007) I got myself a Canon 5D SLR camera (at a bargain price, whilst in the US) and an EF 24-105mm "L" Series lens, plus a Sandisk  8 gigabyte high speed compact flash card.  I am very happy with the new kit and the magnificent Pro series lens. The Canon 5D really is a winner!

 FOR 2007:  The Year of the Flood!  I took very few photos as no boats were out cruising (the Thames was a raging torrent!) and although the Rally went ahead successfully in spite of the rising waters, most of my photos are of the floods. I may put up a small gallery in the future. Meanwhile, roll on 2008!
