ROYAL THAMESIS - The TTBR commissioned the building of this replica of a 17th Century Royal Barge (or Shallop) by Michael Dennett in 1996. The keel, stem and stern post are of iroka, the planking is Brazilian cedar on English oak ribs. She is 36ft long and is rowed by a crew of six, plus a tillerman and passengers.
